Our DBHDS-licensed Supportive Living Program provides safe, stable, and person-centered housing for individuals with high-functioning intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/DD) and co-occurring mental health needs. We believe every individual deserves the opportunity to live as independently as possible while receiving the support, respect, and guidance they need to thrive.

What Is Supported Living?
Supported Living is a flexible, person-centered service that empowers individuals to live in the community while receiving tailored assistance with day-to-day life.
Unlike traditional group homes, Supported Living allows individuals to choose where they live, who they live with, and how they want to live—with support provided based on their unique needs and preferences.
At Serenity C & C Inc., our trained and compassionate staff support individuals in maintaining safe, stable, and meaningful lives within their homes and neighborhoods.
Whether it’s assistance with cooking meals, managing medications, learning life skills, or navigating social situations, we meet each person where they are and help them move forward with confidence.
Who is Supported Living for?
Supported Living is for adult individuals with an ID/DD diagnosis who are medically stable and able to function and thrive with support, as well as individuals with a SMI (Serious Mental Illness) diagnosis who strive to live independently with support.
How does Serenity C & C offer Support?
We take a personalized approach to ensure that every individual receives tailored support and guidance. This includes medication reminders, help with managing finances, cooking and more.
Where is Supported Living Located?
Our first Supported Living location is based in Hampton, Virginia, but we are actively working on expanding within other areas of Virginia.
What do Support Services include?
– 24-hour on-call support tailored to individual needs and goals provided by Direct Support Professionals
– Assistance with daily living skills such as meal preparation, money management, and household upkeep
– Medication monitoring and coordination with mental health professionals
– Arrangement of transportation to appointments, employment, and community activities
– Behavioral and emotional support based on individualized service plans
– Social and recreational opportunities that promote inclusion and connection
